It was a pleasure and a privilege to be part of the lovely Liam and Michelle’s wedding day celebrations at Kedleston Country House. Situated close to the iconic Kedleston Hall, this exquisite Derbyshire venue is a perfect location for special occasions.

Liam and Michelle had asked me to provide close-up magic during the early evening reception. It was tremendous to mingle with their lovely family and friends throughout the dining area, function suites, bar area and outside terrace too.

A variety of close-up effects using cards, coins and day to day objects were delivered. Parlour illusions and mind-reading and psychological routines also featured during table-side performances. Liam and Michelle’s guests were a joy to entertain.

There were also some younger guests in attendance and it is very important on wedding days to ensure all the generations share in the magic! I was delighted to deliver some special visual magic for the children along with balloon modelling.

Emily and Joe had requested that I perform magic from the end of the wedding breakfast until the start of the evening reception. This period on a wedding day is perfect for magic. I was delighted to entertain friends and family with close-up magic, sleight-of-hand, classic illusions and mind-reading effects.

Magic was also delivered for the younger guests in attendance, and balloon modelling is always a big hit on wedding days. It truly was a tremendous pleasure to engage with Emily and Joe’s day and evening guests within the bar area and function suites of the stunning Hazel Gap Barn.

I was delighted when Hollie and Dane asked me to provide close-up magic on their wedding day in July. The venue was the exceptional Carriage Hall, which is located in the picturesque village of Plumtree – just south of Nottingham.

It was a pleasure and a privilege to provide entertainment in such an idyllic location on a beautiful summer’s day. Hollie and Dane had sampled some of my magic at Brittany and Jamie’s wedding at Swancar Farm in September 2024, and I was very flattered when they decided to call upon my services for their special day too.

Close-up mix-and-mingle magic was provided during drinks reception period – just after Hollie and Dane’s ceremony. It was a tremendous privilege to engage such a fantastic group of family and friends on this very special occasion. Indeed, the newlywed’s guests were all in fine form and clearly ready for plenty of fun, interaction and laughter.

It was tremendous to see so many children at Hollie and Dane’s wedding and to have the opportunity to entertain them as well. I am very fortunate that my repertoire allows me to engage with all generations on such a day. Child-friendly magic and balloon modelling was duly delivered, and I thoroughly enjoyed experiencing the wonderful reactions of the younger guests.

I was delighted when Lucy Tissington, the President of Derby and District Law Society, contacted me last year and invited me to deliver close-up magic on this very special evening. It was a tremendous honour to be Lucy and her husband Oliver’s wedding magician at Makeney Hall in 2011; and I was profoundly grateful that they wanted me to be part of another very important red letter day event!

It was a magical day at the enchanting Holme Pierrepont Hall last August when Edward and Corinne tied the knot. I had been very fortunate to have met the lovely couple at Harlaxton Manor earlier in the year, and I was delighted when they decided that my magic should be part of their big day.

Close-up ‘mix-and-mingle’ magic was provided during drinks reception period, and it was a tremendous pleasure to entertain such a wonderful group of guests. I delivered an extensive repertoire of card routines, classic illusions, mind-reading demonstrations and parlour effects both within the hall and around the beautiful walled garden outside.

I was delighted when the lovely Tara and David asked me to perform close-up magic during their evening wedding reception at the fantastic Rufford Mill. This is always a wonderful time for some ‘mix-and-mingle’ prestidigitation – when bride, groom and guests are relaxing after the wedding breakfast.

The evening would be even more special as Tara’s Mum Marion is a big fan of magic, and has recently celebrated a very important birthday. The newlyweds had managed to keep my presence a secret, so it was a tremendous privilege to provide entertainment for the VIP guest!

One of the benefits of entertaining during the early evening reception is that I normally have an excellent opportunity to amaze the newlyweds. It was wonderful to provide both close-up sleight-of-hand and larger parlour illusions for Tara, David and close family and friends in the charming function suites of Rufford Mill.

Tara and David’s family and friends were a wonderful group to enthral with a variety of intriguing magical routines and illusions. Indeed, the delightful halls and rustic environs of Rufford Mill always provide the perfect backdrop for plenty of magical amazement on a wedding day! Many of Tara and David’s friends had a natural fascination with magic, and it was a pleasure to have the opportunity to perform mysterious mind-reading and prediction effects later in the evening. This branch of the magical art is known as Mentalism, and one of its most famous modern day practitioners is Derren Brown.

It was wonderful to be part of Kieran and Imogen’s big day at the magical Rufford Mill, Nottinghamshire in September last year. Close-up ‘mix-and-mingle’ magic is ideal for wedding day entertainment, and it was a tremendous privilege to amaze Kieran and Imogen’s family and friends during the day reception. Curious card effects, intriguing illusions, and mystifying mind-reading routines were delivered both inside and outside the wonderful venue!

Situated within Rufford Abbey Country Park, there are plenty of outstanding locations for wedding day photos!

It is always a pleasure and a privilege to create some magical memories for the newlyweds – particularly during early evening reception when they can relax after the speeches! Child-friendly magic and balloon modelling are two other options I have within my repertoire – in order to entertain any younger guests who may be present too.
